Some decisions take half a second.
The rest is just following through.

I'm Nitin. I dropped out of engineering, discovered I could teach, built a career in learning, quit to open a cafe in the mountains, ran out of money, and came back. Now I build small things from Bir, Himachal Pradesh, at my own pace, on my own terms. This is Bootstrap Life.

The story

Fourteen years in corporate learning, from the bottom of the food chain to leading the function. Built digital academies, ran leadership programs, scaled teams. Every year, I'd disappear for a month on a motorcycle. 150,000 km across India, Nepal, and Bhutan. That was the part that felt like mine.

After COVID, I resigned. Opened a cafe in Manali, cleaned floors, ran inventory. The venture broke even. The partnership didn't. Emergency funds ran out. I went back. But something had shifted. I found Bir. Found a remote role that gave me room. Started writing. Started building again: a book, small tools, a villa under construction. No grand plan. Just half-second decisions, one after another, adding up to something that finally feels like mine.

If any of this sounds familiar, the audit will tell you where you actually are. Ten questions, three minutes, a private report. Take it free.

The first thing I shipped

The Almanack of
Half-Second Decisions

A field manual for freedom, leverage, and sukoon.

I wrote this because I couldn't find a book that said what I needed to hear at 25. About the scripts we inherit without questioning. The leverage we ignore. The quiet decisions that shape everything.

It's not advice from someone who has it figured out. It's notes from someone still figuring it out, shared as honestly as I could manage.

This is not a self-help book. It is a mirror held at the right angle.

Finished it in two sittings. The leverage section rewired how I think about time.

Calm, sharp, and honest. The kind of book you keep going back to.
